Horizon International Film Festival represents a meeting opportunity to exchange opinions, expertise and experience, and to strengthen connections and bonds between filmmakers in the world.

The festival seeks to achieve the following goals:

  • Opening the door to participation and honoring works that have not been given their due due to hegemonic policies in the world of cinema.
  • Attracting films that support clear rights issues, including the Palestinian issue, and inviting directors and producers to engage in the discourse of human dignity issues.
  • Promoting and encouraging cinematic production with an ethical level that takes into account the human values of people and does not neglect the creative and artistic aspect.
  • Creating a space for communication between directors, producers, film content makers and critics.
  • Empowering young people and creators and urging them to produce creative cinematic works.
  • Developing the spirit of competition and encouraging constructive criticism.
